Dro Fereidun (Ray)) Shokatfard Founder and Chairman
Fereidun (Ray) is a former university professor in the field of Agroeconomics,
educated at Justus Liebig University Giessen, Germany.
He is an educator and artist and loves to do art with children and help them to
express their creativeness. He is the author of many children books, some
published by Amazon as well as books of poetry and paintings. He has donated
some of his books to all public libraries in California and selected libraries outside
of California.
Rika Shokatfard
Rika is a former teacher in Germany and teacher in Elementary Schools in the
South Bay. She has her BA degree in Pedagogic from Justus Liebig University in
Germany.
Rika loves to be involved and educate the children and currently she is teaching as
substitute teacher in various schools in the South Bay. She has a passion for art and
creativity that can enrich childrens’ lives.
Robert (Bob) Mc Gibbon
Mr. Mc Gibbon is a founding board member of Heartful Children’s Foundation. He
has spent his entire career with the FDIC as a bank examiner and then later as a
field manager. He has worked in the FDIC’S Sacramento Field Office and their San
Francisco Office. For The last 20 years, he has served as Field Supervisor for the Los
Angeles Territory where he continues to manage two offices that supervise
Banks in Los Angeles and San Bernardino Counties as well as all Central California
Coast. Mr. Mc Gibbon is a 1988 graduate of Oregon State University; Corvallis,
Oregon. His financial background has served him well on the board as the
Organization’s Financial Officer.

Rebecca Thomson
Rebecca is an experienced speaker, writer, consultant, facilitator and coach with
over 30 years in the manufacturing, aerospace, and healthcare industriest She has
been an internal and external consultant for many years, working with such
companies as Eastman Kodak, General Motors, and Blue Cross Blue Shield North
Carolina. She is currently the principal of Evolve Without Limits, a coaching and
consulting practice. Her areas of expertise include leadership and team development,
work systems redesign, organizational change, and culture change.
Rebecca holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University,
and an M.A. in Organizational Management & Development from Fielding Graduate
University in Santa Barbara, CA.
Rebecca is the author of Rebecca Rising: How I found courage and self-love through
friendship, coaching and conversations with the moon, a memoir chronicling her
healing journey.
Al Sadrpour
Al Sadrpour, an adventure & expedition photographer of 40 years enjoys a unique style with special emphasis on rich melding of color and light and classic composition. His previous work exhibits an in-depth concentration on creating images depicting natural scenery, adventure, and cultural phenomenon.
Al is a renowned and creative artist with enormous talent and unlimited desire to capture a variety of unique and momentous images from local as well as far-flung places. His majestic photographs have been and continue to decorate the pages of several major magazines and promotional publications. And my book “Faces of the Worlds” is the first to solely feature my own collection.
